Gaynor is a late-comer to music! She always loved to sing but had a big problem with nerves in front of an audience. However, 7 years ago she
overcame this problem when she entered the annual talent competition ‘Paphos Has Talent’; ending up in the final!
After various open mic nights, Gaynor was booked for her very first solo gig at the age of 59. This lead to other gigs and she even passed the first audition when she entered UK’s X-Factor.
Gaynor has since been doing solo gigs with regular slots in pubs and bars
around Paphos and has been often told that her voice bears a strong resemblance to that of the late and great Karen Carpenter and for this reason she developed a Karen Carpenter Tribute act which includes not only many of the favourite songs of the Carpenters but many lesser-known facts about the lady to make it more interesting.
However, Gaynor is not restricted to this genre of music and can provide music from all genres and tastes including some classic floor-fillers making her suited to any event and occasion.
